Local M.P. Maria Eagle opens the new practice bay canopy watched by 2007 Club Captain Irving Glassman. This facility was fully funded by Sport England following the Club's application for a grant to provide enhanced all weather Junior coaching facilities. As a Golfmark accredited club, Sport England generously awarded Lee Park this grant.
