Whilst an easy walking parkland course, the 18 holes offer a fine test of accurate driving and includes six dog-legs. The 5959 yards Par 70 (SSS 69) requires a good short game in order to attack the well protected raised greens. The course is always in immaculate condition and is testimony to our fine greenstaff led by Trevor Clark and his deputy Jon McMullen.
The club has recently gained the coveted EGU Environmental Award. Development plans included wildflower planting, improved water management, recycling and composting green waste, improving the wildlife habitat and various energy efficient initiatives.
Lee Park's course and facilities were reviewed in 2006 by an independent assessor appointed by HSBC. These assessors review courses all over the country and their findings are based on examination of course presentation, clubhouse facilities and the welcoming environment. Following their 'secret shopper' visit, Lee Park was awarded a Silver medal for our achievements.
Known throughout Merseyside as one of the friendliest clubs in the area, all non-members and visitors are assured a warm welcome.
