During my year as Captain I have had the privilege to visit many golf clubs, and of all those I've visited I would say that Lee Park has the most friendly and family type welcoming atmosphere.
The course is always in extremely good condition and provides a superb golfing test that is balanced yet deceiving. Whilst an easy walking parkland course, a good short game is essential.
The facilities within the clubhouse are second to none and our jewels in the crown are our caterers - Marie and Geoff Stabler - of whom we are justifiably proud. Nobody visiting Lee Park ever leaves with a complaint about either the quality or quantity of the meals served. Indeed many people who re-visit do so to avail themselves of the excellent food available.
You may think I'm gilding the lily somewhat but the only way to find out is to come and join us and make your own judgement. Trust me you will have a wonderful time. |
